BATTERY TRANSFER CART

The Warehouse Transfer Cart is a platform transport device used to move heavy materials within warehouses and workshops. It mainly adopts a wheeled structure and battery power supply to achieve flexible material transportation within the warehouse.

The wheeled design allows the cart to move flexibly, including forward, backward, left and right turning, as well as 360-degree rotation.

Battery power frees the cart from cable restrictions, enabling it to operate freely and without limitation inside the warehouse.

This device belongs to the DWP series and adopts a differential steering design. Compared with hydraulic steering, differential steering provides higher flexibility and is more suitable for confined spaces or areas with limited turning space. In simple terms, it has a smaller turning radius, making it easier to adjust direction in aisles and narrow locations. Due to its high flexibility, we do not recommend using this device for transporting precision instruments.

 

Working Principle of a Differential Steering Warehouse Transfer Cart:

This equipment is equipped with four wheels: two drive wheels and two auxiliary wheels. The auxiliary wheels are not powered, while the drive wheels provide the driving force. By adjusting the rotational speed of the two drive wheels, a speed difference is created, enabling the equipment to turn left and right or rotate 360 degrees on the spot.

 

When Is a Differential Steering Warehouse Transfer Cart Recommended?
1.Your warehouse space is relatively narrow, and the cart needs to change direction frequently during transportation.
2.Your cargo weight is under 30 tons.
3.The cart size is standard and does not need to be long and narrow.
4.You do not require high parking precision, and it is not used for transporting precision instruments.
5.High flexibility and a small turning radius are required.
6.Your ground conditions are flat, without uneven surfaces or steep slopes.

Basic Components of the Equipment:


1. Frame:

The welded frame structure provides a very high load-bearing capacity. Different structural designs are applied for different load capacities. It is worth noting that this type of equipment typically has a load capacity range of 1 to 30 tons.

2. Battery:

The battery is located in the middle of the cart, and the top cover can be opened for convenient maintenance. Battery capacity is configured according to different load capacities. We guarantee continuous operation for at least 1–2 days under normal working conditions.

3. Wheels:

The wheels of the equipment can be made from two materials. The drive wheels are usually made of polyurethane, as polyurethane wheels are highly suitable for 360-degree rotation and provide excellent wear resistance. The auxiliary wheels can be made of either polyurethane or rubber, depending on customer requirements.

4. Control Box:

The control box is the core of the electrical control system. It is installed on one side of the cart for easy inspection and maintenance. The control box includes a power display, control switches, and other electrical components.

5. Motor/Reducer:

The differential steering transfer cart is equipped with two motors and reducers on the drive wheels. Motor power is customized according to the load capacity and cart dimensions.

6. Remote Control:

Each vehicle is equipped with two control methods: a wireless remote control and a handheld wired controller. The remote control includes buttons for all functions, allowing the operator to easily control the cart's movement and operation.
