What is a self-propelled cart?
A self-propelled cart is designed for transporting large or medium-weight materials. When you transport heavy materials ,maybe you also can think of traditional transport tools, forklifts, cranes, overhead cranes, heavy-duty trailers, or rail-mounted transfer vehicles. Maybe these tools is not suitable , These traditional heavy-duty transport systems are often inflexible and limited in today's modern manufacturing environment. The self-propelled cart, is a flexible mobile device ,During moving heavy cargo, making it an ideal choice for many factories.
The self-propelled cart is electrically powered, running on an internal battery to move materials. Its control system is very easy ,not need any operational training. REMOTE CONTROL IS VERY FRIANEDLY,it doesn't require specialized skills or certification to operate. All you need is a remote control and a bit of simple training to operate it with confidence.
why choose custom 20t self propelled
This type cart is a custom-built 20-ton self-propelled cart for my America client, in his processing plant to transport precision equipment. The customer needed to move precision instruments between different workshops and temporary storage areas on a daily basis. These instruments are not only heavy but also quite large, making forklifts and cranes impractical. Therefore, the customer wanted a new vehicle to improve their transportation efficiency.
Customer's requirements were:
The vehicle must be able to operate across workshops, with durable and wear-resistant wheels.
The vehicle must be capable of making flexible turns.
The vehicle must have long battery life, supporting up to eight hours of operation.
Based on these needs, we designed and manufactured a custom self-propelled cart.
Hydraulic Steering System
Due to the cart's long body, conventional differential steering would not allow smooth and stable turns. Therefore, we implemented a hydraulic steering system to ensure stability and precision while turning.
The operator can easily achieve accurate steering using a simple remote control.
Strong Load-Bearing Structure
The vehicle body is constructed from thickened steel plates welded together, and the overall frame is mechanically calculated to withstand continuous high loads.
Its surface is coated with rust-proof paint, ensuring long-term use even in hot and humid environments.
Customized Design
This trackless transfer cart is precisely measured and custom-built for the customer.
The long, rectangular tabletop design accommodates long workpieces and makes loading and unloading easier.
Inside, the electrical control box, battery compartment, and hydraulic system module are neatly arranged, creating a compact, safe, and aesthetically pleasing layout.
Comprehensive Safety Features
Equipped with an audible and visual alarm system, it automatically alerts nearby personnel during operation.
An emergency stop button instantly cuts off power and engages the brakes in case of an emergency.
Front and rear collision-avoidance devices effectively absorb minor impacts.
User Experience
After receiving the equipment, the customer immediately put it into operation. The operator can easily control all functions of the self-propelled cart using the wireless remote control, ensuring smooth and stable movement.
