Recently, a 3-ton rail-mounted transfer cart customized for our client was successfully manufactured and shipped. This equipment will be used in the client's injection molding workshop, primarily for the safe and efficient transfer of molds.
Considering the unique mold structure and the high requirements for transportation stability in the client's injection molding factory, this 3-ton transfer cart features a raised platform structure with cylindrical supports approximately 600mm in diameter installed on the platform. These supports effectively prevent rolling and collisions and provide positional protection during transportation, significantly improving the safety and stability of mold transfer.
The equipment operates along pre-installed tracks in the client's workshop, ensuring smooth operation and high positioning accuracy, meeting the injection molding factory's requirements for safe, reliable, and precise mold transfer with repeatable positioning.
In this project, we adopted a cable reel power supply method, suitable for long-distance, continuous transportation in the injection molding workshop, ensuring stable operation even under high-frequency use. Considering the limited overall space, we optimized the vehicle layout by using an external electrical control box design. This ensures the safety and ease of maintenance of the electrical system while improving the compactness and space utilization of the overall structure.
