A professional transformer manufacturing plant specializes in the production of distribution transformers, power transformers, and transformer core assemblies. During daily production operations, the factory faces frequent material handling tasks that involve transporting heavy transformer iron cores, insulated coil windings, semi-finished transformer assemblies, and fully finished transformer units across multiple workshop areas. These materials need to be regularly moved from the winding workshop to the assembly workshop, from the assembly station to the high-voltage testing area, and finally to the finished product storage zone before shipment.

Different from ordinary mechanical parts, transformer components are extremely high-value, precision-sensitive, and highly vulnerable to external impact, extrusion, and strong vibration. The internal coil windings are wrapped with multi-layer insulating paper and insulating paint, which can be easily scratched, cracked, or deformed by friction and collision. Once insulation damage occurs, it will lead to product scrapping, electrical testing failure, or potential safety hazards in future power operation. In the past, the factory mainly relied on industrial forklifts and overhead traveling cranes for material transportation. However, forklift operation causes unstable center of gravity during heavy-load handling, easily resulting in tilting, sliding, and surface scratching of transformer products. Crane lifting brings swinging displacement, uncontrollable vibration, and low handling efficiency, which cannot meet the requirements of continuous, stable, and safe workshop circulation.
To solve the workshop handling pain points and improve the yield rate of transformer products, we customized an 8-ton battery-powered trackless electric transfer cart specifically for the transformer production workshop. This trackless flat cart requires no ground rail laying, which completely avoids secondary civil engineering construction and does not damage the original workshop floor and production layout. The entire vehicle adopts a solid and reinforced integral steel plate platform, and the working surface is equipped with thickened high-elasticity shock-absorbing rubber pads and anti-slip buffer layers. This professional shock-absorbing design effectively isolates ground vibration and mechanical jitter during operation, greatly protecting the precision insulation structure, coil windings, and iron core components of transformers from vibration damage and friction wear.

The transfer cart is equipped with a full set of intelligent safety protection systems, including wireless remote control operation, manual emergency stop button, omnidirectional infrared anti-collision sensors, and running audible and visual warning lights. Operators can remotely control the cart's forward, backward, steering, and stop at a safe distance, avoiding close contact with heavy loads and improving overall operation safety. The cart supports infinitely variable speed adjustment, achieving ultra-low-speed stable start and stable stop without impact, which is extremely critical for the handling of high-precision electrical equipment such as transformers.
