150 ton rail transfer vehicle for handling steel ladle

The DPJ series consists of equipment designed to provide power support to transfer carts via cables, cable reels, cable chains, or similar mechanisms. Primarily utilized in Rail Transfer Vehicle systems, it draws AC power from the facility's mains supply and channels it into the cart's internal circuitry. Once powered, the cart's drive wheels engage, enabling it to execute functions such as forward and backward movement, stopping, and lifting.

 

This rail transfer cart has a rated load capacity of up to 150 tons, perfectly matching the weight of the customer's ladles containing high-temperature molten materials. We specifically optimized the power supply system and protection design, effectively solving transportation challenges in high-temperature environments. The equipment has now been successfully delivered and is already in operation.

 

Unlike ordinary transfer carts, this rail transfer vehicle can operate stably in high-temperature and dusty working environments. Its core advantages include strong load capacity, effective protection, and a stable power supply, fully matching the customer's actual operating conditions.

The customer is a company in Yunnan engaged in the processing of high-temperature molten materials. In daily production, they frequently need to transport ladles weighing approximately 150 tons, containing molten materials at high temperatures. The working environment is hot and dusty, placing extremely high demands on the transfer equipment.

 

Previously, the customer tried other mobile equipment, but these solutions either lacked sufficient load capacity to carry heavy ladles or lacked targeted protection, resulting in frequent dust and water ingress into electrical boxes. After fully understanding the customer's core needs and pain points, we customized this 150-ton Rail Transfer Vehicle. A ladle-specific support bracket was designed according to the ladle dimensions, providing stable support while offering excellent high-temperature resistance.

 

We adopted a cable reel power supply to ensure continuous operation, implemented IP54 full-body protection (including the electrical box) to resist high temperatures, dust, and splashing water, and reinforced the vehicle structure using high-temperature-resistant materials to ensure stable operation under a 150-ton load in extreme environments.

 

After delivery, the equipment was quickly put into use in the customer's workshop and has been operating stably for several months. The customer is highly satisfied: the rail car runs smoothly, the power supply is stable, and there have been no equipment failures or unplanned downtime, significantly improving transfer efficiency.
