The Lifting Coil Transfer Cart is a customized multifunctional transfer solution developed from PEISA Machinery's DWP series. Unlike standard trackless transfer carts that are designed only for horizontal transportation, this equipment combines both horizontal movement and vertical lifting functions. It is specially designed for steel coil processing, warehouse-to-production line transportation, and applications where different working stations require height adjustment.
The DWP series lifting coil transfer cart is equipped with a scissor-type hydraulic lifting mechanism. This lifting platform ensures the safe and stable handling of steel coils. Powered by hydraulic cylinders, the system provides smooth lifting, starting, and stopping operations, effectively preventing coil movement, sliding, or falling during transportation and lifting.

This specific unit is a 15-ton trackless lifting coil transfer cart, customized for a large steel coil processing company in Turkey.
The customer is a large-scale local enterprise specializing in steel coil cutting and deep processing. For a long time, the company had faced operational difficulties caused by the fixed height difference between the warehouse and processing stations.
In order to improve production efficiency and upgrade their handling process, the customer was looking for a better solution to replace their previous method, which relied on a combination of forklifts and overhead cranes. This traditional workflow not only required high labor costs but also created potential safety risks during operation.
The customer contacted PEISA in early 2026. After several days of communication and technical evaluation, we recommended the DWP series 15-ton lifting coil transfer cart as the ideal solution.
Equipped with a hydraulic lifting system, the cart features a V-shaped cradle that securely supports the steel coil during transportation and lifting, improving operational safety. This solution combines horizontal transfer and vertical lifting functions in one unit, greatly simplifying the handling process.
The 15-ton lifting coil transfer cart is powered by a 250Ah lead-acid battery pack, which is installed in the center of the chassis. With an operating range of approximately 4–6 kilometers, the battery capacity can meet the customer's operating requirements for at least two working days.
Both lead-acid and lithium battery technologies are well-established and reliable. Under normal working conditions, the lead-acid battery has an expected service life of around 3 years, with an annual capacity reduction of approximately 6–8%.
