Working Principle:

 

Two‑Phase Low‑Voltage Rail Power Supply

220V AC power is connected to a step‑down transformer and reduced to 36V safe voltage, which is then supplied to the rails. The collector shoes mounted under the cart pick up power by contacting the rails. The alternating current goes through a rectifier and is converted into direct current to drive the cart's motor and electrical cabinet, allowing the cart to operate.

Three‑Phase Low‑Voltage Rail Power Supply

380V high‑voltage power is connected to a step‑down transformer and reduced to 36V, then transmitted to the rails. Power is collected by the collector shoes on the cart. Since the cart uses an AC motor, the current does not need rectification ,through the step-up transformer, it is raised to 380 volts. directly powers the motor and electrical cabinet.

Difference Between Two Systems

Carts using two‑phase power are equipped with DC motors and require a rectifier to convert AC to DC.Carts using three‑phase power use AC motors and can run directly on low‑voltage AC without rectification.
